Hey! I am the person behind the words & website. For years I've been dreaming of moving to the countryside, to start a homestead, and live a different kind of life.
I'm probably the planner of the place, whose mind is constantly going through hundreds of ideas and projects, to create a self-sufficient life for us.
Gimli
Gimli was the first furry companion to join our family, and has been the biggest motivation in starting our homestead. Because above all, this little furball deserved a yard to run around and chase butterflies. Even if she mostly just hangs out in a quiet spot away from the rest of us - she is after all a Finnish Lapphund, who enjoys watching her surroundings in a crispy, cold breeze. And maybe chase off a bird or two.
Gimli is also known as the Cheese Fiend, due to the way she completely transforms around cheese. The sweet and polite snoot turns into a stubborn and slightly violent little creature on the hunt, when the smell of cheese is near.
Simon
Simon is my fiancé & best friend. He's the financial brains of our lives, with a huge interest in finance and investing. He plans to revolutionise everything money - and I believe he will.
Other than being a finance bro, Simon is also the most compassionate man to ever exist and a great guitarist. Music flows through his veins, but his skills is also a reflection of his incredible work ethics. He's a hard worker, who can accomplish anything he wants to, through pure dedication alone.
Asta
Asta, or 'Pasta' as we often call her, is a mix between a German Shepherd and Japanese Spitz. She's got the chaotic brain of the shepherd, but the velcro-like personality from the spitz.
She'd probably crawl into our skin if possible, but will settle for walking all over us and sitting in the weirdest positions, as long as she has physical contact with her people. She's athletic, hilarious & the best girl, who brings laughs all around. She's better than TV, as I like to say.
Seb
Sebastian is Simon's childhood best friend, and when they moved out as teenagers, they did it together. I actually moved into their shared apartment!
Seb is the owner of the crazy Asta, and their two vibes compliment each other so well. Whilst Asta is chaos, Seb is grounded. He's compassionate, hard-working and social.
It was only natural that Seb was to move with us to Fenvale - he's the best roomie, dreams of gardening and loves to be around people and animals.
